Thanks guys! The Tigers got dirty from dust in the air from both armies tracked AFVs, thousands of tanks in close proximity on the dusty dry steppe. Then the artillery shells kicking up dirt and Katyusha rockets raining down which usually didn't do much to the Tigers but served to kill off a lot of their infantry support forcing them to go at it alone.
