Newish Chap

Post by tanker bob »

Hi,

I joined the RCT last October, but then my daughter and family moved in while their extension was built so I was'nt able to do much on the tank converting side, but they have moved out so I can start now, I have been wargaming for years but have packed up now and wanted something new to start, I have always been interested in tanks, and saw these Heng long one's on the net and was hooked, I am an agricultural fitter but I cant really use gas bottles and big hammer on these but there are also 12v electrics on most equipment so that should help.

At the moment I am trying to put RX18 board and I/R receiver unit in my M41 Bulldog which had an RX14 board, I was hopeing someone might be able to help, CN9 does it plug into the existing multi-pin plug in the turret, I suppose everything is still the same, does anybody know where I can get the triple socket and pins to crimp on the wires for the socket from, for the I/R receiver, on the M41 there are the red rear lights where do I plug them in on the RX18, I have been copying off my I/R Stug for most things, also the volume wires on the RX14 there are two red and a Black on the RX18 there are red white and black do you know which way round the red and white go. I must also thank Forgebear for a good service and helping where he can or putting me in contact with somebody who can.
