1945 Jagdtiger Tank Destroyer

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Roy!
Taigen \ Torro have a lot going for them. HL may be concentrating on improving their Electronics but Taigen is still leaps and bounds ahead on sound quality and general usability of the Tank. As for the detail job to follow. I will try to make it worthwhile! ;o)

Louis!
Repairs from shipping have been made and it is running in fine fettle. I have located a working Barrel Lock at Ludwigs ( Thanks to Hermann and Jackalope ) and will replace the nicely detailed yet non working one that comes with the TD. I am also on the hunt for a functional mount for the rear deck MG-42. If I cannot locate one I have parts and ideas to add some functionality to the supplied plastic part. Other detailing comes to mind ( rear tow lug, flexible antenna mount, working rear convoy light, swivel mount rear mudguards, etc....) You of all Builders know the satisfaction to be had from super detailing a tank. ;o)
Thank you for looking in!

Painless,

My Wife has my wallet in lock down, during this lock down! I'm on "double secret probation" for the foreseeable future. At least she hasn't forced me to give up my cigars! :/ But i'm smoking the cheapest, imported, handmade one's that I can find! :lolno:

Cheers,
Eric.
