More done.
Started to build up the turret, yet more angular and triangular shapes.

Little bit more work done to front section, i am now more happy with the finish , just need to do a little bit more when finishing the model for final paint.
I have added the final drivers hatch side opening protective armour now, looks like it should, now i can continue on with the turret assembly.
Regards.

The numerous angles on these things almost looks like an attempt at “Stealth Tech” !!
Hell of an effort gone in on this mate, also very innovative to use a a Tiger turret as a donor.

Hi Mr Bix.
Thank you for your interest.
I thought the same thing re the stealth technology, when you bear in mind this was conceived of in the 1970's it sort of makes you wonder doesn't it, perhaps a testing platform for later on, i wonder what the frontal radar signiature is ?.

The turret is moving on slowly, it is a very difficult part to make every panel is at an angle and no 2 are the same even the left and right sides are different shapes and the turret roof is at different heights left to right and running at 45 ° across the turret roof, i am having to really think 4 steps in front on each panel i make so progress is really really slow,, hopefully some pics shortly.

Hi chaps.
Well, finally got the turret to where i can place some photos worthy of the forum to peruse.

Its just the basic lower shape still in its raw state, which requires cleaning up, the odd bit of filler here and there but it shows the many angled surfaces which make up the turret shape, i still have to add the gun optics mount which will go in the cut out on the right side, the angled frontal side cover which goes over where the auto cannon side ejects the spent shell casings and all the upper turret roof, hatches etc etc.

Then in the center of the turret at the front i have to design a cylindical rotating gun mount for elevation and depression.
One good thing is that as the 20mm Hispano Suiza M139 is an auto cannon which is recoil less i dont have to add a recoil servo, phew....enough of the splather, heres some pics.

Ps, if this is getting boring, let me know and i will skip some bits
