RC features you have added
Re: RC features you have added
Now if the electronics discussion board had a how to (as in we have a build section showing the all aspects of the build) . What would happen if we all said why should i show how i do my builds, you can see it when its done. This is my take on whats happened.
Re: RC features you have added
Very true! Next time I attempt a worthy electrical modification I will post a how-to thread. It will seem very basic to some but it could help others.

Ronnie, you made me smile with that video.
Notwithstanding the neat servo powered 'electrickery' (Thinking of Catweazel),
I couldn't help imaging Borat's head popping up there- or may be even the Führer himself. I have a scale bronze old style diver's helmet (goldfish bowl shaped), and it would look cool emerging from the commander's hatch. Even a Mini Ken Dodd, complete with tickling stick would add some surprise. At Christmas, Freddie Frinton would be perfect!
These are just alternative 'party piece' options. A well painted commander's upper would, of course, attract some admiring glances.
Mick's idea of the 'recoil' timing is actually a good one too- a sort of 'Duck you suckers!' sort of effect.
Rad, our well-respected RX Wunderkind is a native Spanish speaker, one whom I assume, speaks Austrian style German on daily basis.
So, perhaps it's understandable that the intended 'tone', as it were, of some written English observations might be misunderstood, now and then- even though Rad's command of English is amazing. Hope you won't mind me saying this Rad.
That's where emojis come in handy.

Ronnie42,
I love that crew member playing peek a boo! Very nice, just like Jimster's swiveling Commander's head! Add's a whole new dimension to these fabulous creations. I'm always wondering what next level you Gents will take it too.
Rad, no need to apologize. One must vent, it's only healthy (this is why I've been mostly, happily married for 31 years now)! With 2020 being such a turd I've started practicing Primal Scream Therapy. It's the first thing I do when I get down to our cabin! It really helps me keep on an even keel, with no neighbors around why not?!
I also think that any genius will occasionally grow weary of dealing with us mere mortals! I'd still be banging my head against the wall if it wasn't for you (and Jimster's) help! I'm an idiot with all things electronic, and I'm sure I'm using only about 10% of my Taranis' potential. It confuses the heck out of me and I don't mess with it now that it's set how I like it. I'm not even sure if I could replicate it again!
To me these "high tech" boards and radio's are all alien technology. Now that I think about it, Rad you may not even be of this Earth!
Your dedication to this hobby and helping other's is not taken for granted by probably 99.99% of the member's here. In my books, you are "The Man, with all sincerity!
I don't want to step on anyone's toes, just give credit where credit is due. I don't think anyone meant any ill will here either. Just my 2 cents on things.
Regards,
Eric.

German cars, German girls, German beer, German firearms, German Shepherds, German motorcycles... Not necessarily in that order though!

when those words and pretty words, that's very well said. I totally agree with your opinion. Rad, not only very good electronic knowledge, but we also benefit from it, it's called sharing, and in these difficult times , very pleasant.

You've earned and deserve it. I have no idea how you manage to do so many wonderful things? Father, Husband, expert modeler and painter, electronics wiz, your own website with reviews, updates, and info (all free of charge), and I'm sure you have a "real" job too!
We have no children, but two German Shepherds, and we do run our own business. That being said, we have hardly any free time to do much of anything. When we do get a moment of peace it's usually to take a quick nap!
However you manage it, please keep on doing it. I'm sure hundreds of fellow RC users are indebted to you.
Regards,
Eric.
