Re: Tiger at Kharkov
Hi Soren Have you solved the gearbox issue ? Like the way Tamiya do the front , no joint at the front of the hull. Its impossible to disguise the joint on the other makes when painting .
Re: Tiger at Kharkov
I mounted the dklm brace but didn’t find the time to run it yet. The gearbox shaft looks ok to me now. Still don‘t have too much clearance to the swingarm though. We will see.
Re: Tiger at Kharkov
Now with summer vacation out of the way it is much less time for modelling.
Still some things happened. Got the oh so nice RC ready ABER MG34 from RCTANK.de. As the Tamiya MG mount is actually movable, I might do the Ronnie and find me a servo to be able to make it move horizontally at least. Has anyone tride those rudder servos with only in line moving? Just forgot the proper name.
All the side fenders are on now, so a few PE frets out of the way. But now the tiny bits start to happen, added the wing nut fasteners for the MG cover and the clasps for the shovel, thus finishing the front deck.
On the sides the ootb cable was fitted as a place holder and for filling the holes. Finished those tiny brackets and clamps for the cables to fit later.
So here is it as she stands.

Sorry Hermann, work got me after the summer holiday and accidentally I turned back to my Adeptus Titanicus kits and minis I saw sitting in the shelf of shame. So painted those on and off during the last weeks. The reference kit is almost build though. I hope to be able to get back to this during the Xmas holiday.
