Infa-red system

Post by skip »

Hi, im new to RC tanks but have a long past of RC planes, boats, cars etc. I was wandering if anybody knows which is the best infa-red system to install in my Henge long tiger, panzer, snow lepeard and bulldog?
Any information would be great!

Thanks Skip

Hi Skip,

The beginners guide can be found here:
http://www.rctankwarfare.com/Forums/index.php/topic,919.0.html

Assuming that you have ground (40MHz) or 2.4 GHz radio(s) already I would recommend the DBCRC2HL system, as this will allow you to use your existing radio (and move away from the already over-crowded 27MHz band ;D ) without having to replace the rest of the tanks control electronics (like you would have to with the El-mod or Tamiya systems).

Hope this helps,
Mart

hi skip the dbc also allows you to use the heng/long radio gear too if you didnt want to upgrade but the benefits are there if you do ;) ;)
