Life after rc tanks...

Post by Ad Lav »

As many of you have noticed I have sold most of my rc collection. It’s not that I don’t enjoy it anymore, it’s just I’ve found a different hobby :)

One that required a massive sacrifice of one hobby to fund the other.... I’ve been restoring a Willys Jeep for about a 18 months now.

I have got a couple of rc vehicles left in my arsenal but no tanks sadly!

1/1 scale is a whole different ball game, lots to learn but it’s been a fun journey. Hoping to have her finished by the end of this year.

Congratulations on an excellent vehicle and new hobby! Maybe you will get the rc bug again, but if you don't I wouldn't blame you

I've always enjoyed your builds and positive thoughts and feedback

Hope to see you around and keep us posted on your 1:1 scale new hobby

Thank you Carl. I won’t be leaving the hobby or the forum, made a lot of friends and still enjoy the builds and banter :)

Beautiful Jeep. I’ve driven Jeeps for over 35 years (still do) and there’s nothing like them. I started out with CJ-5s but I’ve always wanted an old MB someday. Are you rebuilding the original engine? Damn, I’m jealous!!
