Well done Jimster! You've taken on a real 24/7 task there, keeping your fellow moderators in order while the rest of us enjoy our troublesome posting ;)

I dunno whether to congratulate you or not... Having been a Mod for a long time on a fairly large firearms forum (Gave that up after a few years), I'll note that it is a usually thankless job from the masses.
That being said, I find RCTW a very well heeled forum with minimal "over the line" posts and attitudes...

The hell with it. Congrats on becoming one of the Greeners!

How bizarre!!, I too was a Mod on a Firearms forum for a long while & dealing with 'tards I knew that had access to weapons hardened my hide significantly.
I get that when you say thankless job, its one that is rarely needed but crucial when it is & i'm confident Mr Jimster has sufficient hide to cope.

WHAT?! WHEN?! HOW?!

Glad to hear it. Congratulations for taking on this thankless task. With your patience and "even keel" temperament (as evidenced by your work), I'm sure you'll do very well. Take a bow all you Moderators out there for being the unsung hero's of this forum! Here I thought the green color on your moniker was a skill grading or something? Like you've achieved a level where most of us "newbies" were green with envy of your work, which I am!

It sounds like a good fit for you. Every night when I get up to pee at 2 am, I figure "what's happening on the Forum with the guys on the other side of the globe"? What do you know; yup, there's Jim, and in my same time zone even!

Carry on, as you were,
Eric.

You, sir, are one of the many folks on this forum that makes my participation here one of the few pleasures that I enjoy everyday. As I’ve said before, getting so very much enjoyment and straight up solid advice/encouragement from this place makes me feel obligated to try and give back as much as I can despite my lack of experience in being a moderator. I simply try to shoot straight and be kind to everyone.
Thank you and give Boje a loving pat on the head for me.

Jim,

You're very much welcome. And since the "big guy" is trying to sit in my lap, I guess it's back porch and cigar time.

Talk to you later,

Eric.
