New Goodies Arrived!

Post by Jimster »

What a nice surprise! We just returned home from a weekend getaway and I had packages waiting for me. All three items were ordered at different times and from different countries and they all arrived on the same day. Weird.

The Radiomaster TX16S was ordered on July 3rd from China! Isn’t that crazy fast shipping considering the Black Plague situation? The figure is a Verlinden Tiger loader and the book is self explanatory. Now I’ve got to charge up the radio and get it programmed. I hate that chore.

An impressive mixed package to find in the postbox, Jim! Like you, I've been amazed at how quickly things can appear from China- some, though, not nearly so welcome :problem:

Very true !
Funny thing is that I ordered a set of Mato sprockets back on May 8th and they’re stuck in China. Since then I’ve ordered and received a set from Canada and to top that crap off I’m not going to use them due to poor detail accuracy.
Some luck is good, some not so much.

It's a good book, pretty entertaining, full of interesting anecdotes. First historical non-fiction book that wasn't a huge drag for me to read, but keep in mind that its the perfect definition of a primary source.

Yep it was a fascinating read. You are left in no doubt about the character of the author. I'll say no more. :D

And it is a rare account of operations in and around Estonia by Armee Gruppe Nord. The end of the following battle of Sinimaed saw the start of a total collapse in the lightly defended Baltic States.

It would be helpful if every time a book is recommended on the Forum the ISBN (International Standard Book Number) was included so that other members can order a copy on line.
I cannot be the only person who gets mighty teeded off with an alleged even better Transmitter coming onto the market.
I have enough of the things to set up a shop, all different all working and all promising to be better than anything that has gone before. And nobody ever mentions the price or availability of the matching Receiver without which you have an expensive lump of plastic and metal that would not even make a decent door stop.
I am not in the Market for anymore although every time I buy a WTL/JJRC Truck it is included DOHHH
Sorry its not been a good start to the day :lolno:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

In this very case, that radio might be the best thing you can buy, and is affordable. For what it is, is a bargain.
It comes with a multiprotocol module and that means it works with almost every receiver of every brand in the market. Flysky, frsky, spektrum, futaba... All.

I do use those multiprotocol modules and are amazing, and you can never run out of receivers when all of them works.
