Thanks Painless.
Working on a Vampir optics for it now. The one on the front of will house a laser sighting device. Hope I can get it to work.

Re: HL Jagdpanther rebirth
The last was a prototype to verify main components and scale. First two ready for detailing.

Worked on LeD lights and details inside driver Vampir system. Also picked up radio and ordered receiver. A good buddy of mine is an electronics genius for Ball Aerospace. We are going to work on a system for a smoke delivery system that will be emitted from the side of tank that takes the hit. His idea. Lol. I gave him one of my old Panthers to mess with.

I worked up the Vampir system with the MG mount this evening. I have just about perfected the STL file for print. Finishing up the little details with styrene. LED next.

Re: HL Jagdpanther rebirth
This afternoon, I printed out Shurzen brackets and cut the side armor. The printer is a great tool making this build a lot of fun.
The learning curve on the design program isn’t bad either. I have been using Tinkercad for all the design work so far. If anyone needs the stl files, let me know.

Re: HL Jagdpanther rebirt
A few pieces I have been waiting on made it here to Colorado. The Hentec adjusters from Forgebear made great time in the ever elusive international shipping maze, along with metal idlers, drivers and tracks. I installed the Hentec system first with minimal clearancing. I had to convert the idler axles to machine screws. I used brass tubing to take up the spacing between the M4 screw and the ID of the bearing. I inserted the new machine screw and the bushing in the idler wheel. Then a M4 screw slid perfectly into the Hentec adjuster assembly. Clamped it down and then threaded on the nut to tighten assembly all up. Very little slop in the assembly. Mounted the drivers then added a link to the track and assembled it all. Adjusted tensioner and it’s ready to rock. Pretty happy with the machining in the parts. The tensioner is such a blessing in this heavy drivetrain.

Thanks Painless. Going pretty smooth so far. I got the initial color sequence and pattern finished over the weekend.
