Cheers for the encouragement guys, as for the milliput the yellow/ grey is the standard stuff. I have also used some car body filler for the smaller ones. The weld lines seem to go on forever at this scale. I put some on, leave it then walk back later and notice areas for more.
More detail to add before tackling the motors and getting it running, I intend to keep the motors and turret rotation running off 12v with either esc’s or sabertooth 2x25. The gun recoil and elevation, sound etc I’m thinking of 7.5v via a open panzer board and benedini. I also think I will fit all the electrics on a board that I can lift out and use in a Dragon Sherman that’s up I the loft as a later project.

Now back as a crude runner,
Motors being used are gimsonrobotics.co.uk/ ADRS550SH DC 36mm Motor (12V and 18V versions)
Standard gearboxes.
Sabertooth 2x25 for control. 12v
Open panzer board will have its own battery.

Not much else to add apart from enjoying the other builds and love the idea of scale looking tracks. Tanks on holed for a while after having major abdominal surgery so now can’t pick it up.

Painless,

Thanks for the comment, I’m waiting for some more parts from Dave Dibbs at amourpax. When they arrive I’ll do a bit more. 1/6 just takes so long time to get to the finish.
