Torro tank controls.

Post by Basin79 »

Hello, is there any way I can swap the controls around on the sticks? I'd much sooner have the hull movements be on the left stick and turret on the right.

Thank you.

Cheers for the quick no nonsense reply.

I'll have to get used to it then.

If you have a Taigen V2 or V3 Board then you have the option to use an aftermarket Transmitter and you can select either stick to control the Tanks movements.AND if you don't have a V2 or V3 in your Tank it is relatively cheap and readily available and an easy swap from the existing board.
www.rctank.de
and
www.forgebeartanks.com
And
IMEX in the USA
Can all supply the V3 board and the most suited Sound Module.

Mine has a V3 board. Cheers for that. Could you please advise on what particular controller I would need to buy?

Flysky fs-i6 is a great value and very easy to configure. Banggood do them with several receiver options.

A Flysky 6 channel digital programmable Transmitter and a matching Receiver would fill your requirements but do shop around as you can spend penny's or many pounds for something that will do the same job,
You don't need too many bells and whistles but a rotating or sliding potentiometer would be handy for controlling the sound remotely.

The very cheap Flysky model has two rotary pots, just the job.

Thank you so much for all the replies.

So I could just bind a Flysky to my Tiger?

No, you bind your Flysky transmitter to your Flysky receiver than connect the receiver to your tank control unit using the pack of leads supplied with your tank. The instruction manual covers this.
