Hi, It was the M36B1, the running gear was ok, although I didnt keep it for long, it was the upper hull that
I had issues with, all the small fittings (Lights/Light guards/rear engine hatch/and more turned from pot metal into monkey metal and crumbled.

I'll second that. Have their M4A3 & the parts literally keep breaking & falling off. No major issues with zinc rot aside from the small parts but have heard of too many stories from others. Quite simple to avoid if one uses the correct zamac alloy & truly believe in long-term quality.
I've got a 1/16 all metal KT ordered but its not from MATO. Certainly will be quite a bit more money but well worth every cent once I get my hands on it.

Re: Mato King Tiger
Well, the details on this MATO king tiger model don't seem very good. For example, the lifting hooks on the engine deck are in the opposite direction, just like HengLong's mistake. The reinforcing ribs where the side skirt was removed are also incorrect. The appearance of the product out of the box is TOY level detail except that it is made of metal. You can think of this as a material for improving detail, but if you stick to keeping it all-metal, it will require skill and enthusiasm for the modification, and it will cost more. After all, it may be better to collect metal parts and scratch from the beginning, or get another metal model and modify or improve the details.

Re: Mato King Tiger
There are quality suppliers here who truly believe in doing it right from the start.

Re: Mato King Tiger
All-metal RC tanks are inevitably expensive. Therefore, the material of the body should be a durable metal. They also need to have basic visual details and be correct to the real thing. (Except for fictitious tanks or animated tanks.)
As for appearance detail, the detail level of recent 1/35 scale models is the minimum required.

I'm not onto zinc-aloy or even Die cast metal parts if you're going to fool around on mud, dirt and dust.
If this is not pure Aluminium I'll pass, because doing so will kill your tak eventually, Because it'll tend to crumble and die with your dreams and hopes.
Otherwise, is an excellent source to molds for plastic or self curing resin, due to its durability (its metal!)
