Thanks. I read that the Ukrainian Army has now ordered some of those from Israel. They've clearly seen potential in them.Marco Peter wrote:A nice read and pictures:

I'm thinking that the Jamaican Defence Force might have a practical use for them too; as they'd make a perfect hairnet for dreadlocks.

Guess what, remember how the tank is called? Hint hint,43rdRecceReg wrote:Thanks, lads . Some interesting additions there. I can see one potential problem with the disguised rifle: in a crisis, the soldier might forget where he stashed it. It could be like one of those 'I can't find my car nightmares'. In this instance, a 'Can't find my carbine' nightmare.
I'm wondering why this German anti-aircraft unit looks like it was camouflaged for a Zoo context, and not the North Sea, or the Baltic Either that, or the soldier with the paintbrush, had been looking at his Grandad's collection of Eartha Kitt LPs.

It is a Gepard actually. But yes still similar camo approach to a Leopard.Son of a gun-ner wrote:Seriously? You have to wonder? It's a Leopard

So, to become a Gepard, what was the Leopard bred with?

Came across these when I was doing my wirbelwind.
I think this would be hard to spot from the air given the surrounding terrain.
Cheers

It is just that cheetahs have solid black spots while leopards often have those brown spots inside black. Theat is why they choose this camo here.Son of a gun-ner wrote:Still a Leopard bottom halfSoeren wrote:It is a Gepard actually. If the leopard has black dots in the center of the rosettes, then it's a jaguar.Soeren wrote:It is just that cheetahs have solid black spots while leopards often have those brown spots inside black. When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
