Here you are doing all this out of metal and I am trying to make a early mantlet and that’s getting on my nerves. I can only imagine the pain this is causing
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Hi.
Pain...i love it :lolno:
Just thinking about making the head light shells, whether cast some resin or white metal will have to make some molds first for either...
Cheers.

Hi.
So i decided to make the headlamp shells from resin (easier to machine)
Here's 4 headlamp shells made from a Home made mold there from polyester resin, i painted them in primer to see any imperfections but didnt think they came out too bad, so now onto hollowing the inside out to fit an LED and make a reflector prior to thinking about the lense.
Cheers

With four of these i should be able to operate the model in pitch darkness. :haha:

This was taken in daylight and in a room with the lights on....
You cannot look directly at it without having spots in your eyes afterwards, and all at 3.3volts

Hi.
The LEDS are 3mm ultrabights, from component-shop 0.30p each.
I made the rest.
