Early m4a1

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Nice work. What did you use for the rear door hinges? I can't quite make them out.

Nice work Eb, it's coming along a treat mate, the bogie conversion looks great also, I have had the vandra conversion set for a while and some day I'll get around to fitting them to my own desert Sherman

Honestly I couldn’t be bothered to try and build the proper ones so I stood some brass dolls house hinges and pins on it

I was the same. I re-purposed some PzIII driver hatch hinge mouldings. Not kosher, but they look like a matched set.

These aren’t accurate but they would pass and look quite good as a botched field repair

Well. The mantlet construction has begun but there’s not really much to look at as it a small square Tupperware tip full of car filler at the moment. Reason I have opted to do a solid square mould is in my mind shaping a square will be easier than a complete build. I dare say I will find out soon enough
