Yep, I think that you're right.

Best thing too is, in this scale, although the size is harder to work with, the range of parts & detail options is limitless.

Thanks Herman - yep, I must admit that it's the eye strain and fat fingers that are limiting!

I think that this is now at the point of priming and painting!

Hi Mr jimbo, I think you have the turret bin correct when central. I have spent the last few weeks tirelessly searching for good detailed close up views of Wegmann production rivetted turret bins with escape hatches in the same shot. What I have found in the few shots that exist, demonstrate that manufactures of all scale models of Tiger 1's do not seem to agree the correct angle/size of bin or position relative regarding the escape hatch. Tiger 131 is the only solid source we have as true reference. IMHO the angle of 45degree is correct, an imaginary line to the centre of the roof just kisses the lip of the turret vent. As you can see in the picture below the relative gap from edge of escape hatch to turret bin on 131 is smaller than your gap but appears to be central the rear lifting lug. IMHO you can only work with what you have, and what you have looks good. 8)

Thank you Mr Boar, that's a cracking picture and bit of maths that explains it all!

Glad that superglued it in the right place Image

Made up the servo mount for the elevation from Styrene and made sure that there was still space for the machine gun fibre.

Still trying to work out how to get the turret rotation sorted...

That's right Mr B!

Yes, I know it's not finished (waiting for a pot of Tamiya Rubber Black for the rims) and I'm very impatient, but had to see what it looked like!
