Re: P-51 Mustang deadstick, stall and crash
My bud had a Mustang that i christened the cursed Mustang, he had a loss signal problem, ended up landing inverted under full power. Poor thing went pop, best bit he reused parts from it and they were continued to be cursed.

That looked like a expensive moment

And that is why I stick to land based RC... I crash a tank, I'm not out 1/2 that again in repairs (Unless a Tamiya DMD)...

A shame. Appears it could have been far worse. Looks to be fairly intact, was the plane salvaged?

I am astounded by the realism in that video. It had everything from the take off and even down to a real life landing in many cases.
Sadly it has caused damage to a fine model but as a tanker it doesn’t look to serious.

It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Oh now that’s a shame.
And here’s me getting upset when I miss a bridge approach and knock a detail off !!

Already repaired and flying apparently. The owner/pilot builds these things from scratch. That knowledge is invaluable when it comes to making repairs.c.rainford73 wrote:A shame. Appears it could have been far worse. Looks to be fairly intact, was the plane salvaged?

That is also the reason i picked Tanks if you crash them they look better. You dont need a big black bag to pick up all the bits (also bad for your back).Jarlath wrote:And that is why I stick to land based RC... I crash a tank, I'm not out 1/2 that again in repairs (Unless a Tamiya DMD)...
