As you've probably gathered, all the comments so far are- if not directly- in favour of your Xmas prezzie.
Many here begin the long slide into RC Tank slavery with the Tiger 1, but the T34 is an excellent choice to get on track with:thumbup:

I would only add that you really must make sure it's a ver 6.0 model with the STEEL gears, not just 'metal' gears. Great start!

Nice box but too heavy to use!

Just in case anyone is interested, l masked the stripes and then used a white paint pen. Although l have an airbrush, l wanted a realistic white paint applied by a roller or broom head effect and the paint pen allows you to apply in strokes with uneven coverage, just like the real thing. I used one of Forgebear's own water slide decal sets for the lettering then gave the whole turret a coat of Tamiya flat white.

Done with commendable skill and refinement, G.J . A larger pic would have done greater justice to your handiwork; but then, this is someone else's thread. Still, all these examples open up a positive perspective on T34 ownership.

Noooo! You have a legal responsibility to open and check it. You need to check all its functions are operating as they should and to do this you need also to charge the battery pack. You should then stress test it for around three weeks to make sure all the components are reliable and then, and only then, should you wrap it for Christmas. Trust me, I'm a RC Tanker!
