BRDM Armoured Car

Post by andy_01732 »

Guys,
thought you might like this one. Started life as a £20.00 Amphi Star from Lidls. Amphiibous but leaks like a sieve but the mechanicals are quite hardy. All the superstructure is built from plasticard and henglong bits from various sources. Radio has been replaced with full proportional and the hull saled so no more leaks! Goes really well and nothing beats the site of an armoured vehilce heading into the water. Andy

Thats great! How much does it weigh?

Did you have trouble building it light enough?

Doesnt weigh much more than when I started and didnt need to watch the weight for the superstructure. Has got lead inside to balance whilst in the water. Andy
