CURA v4.2

Post by AlwynTurner »

A word of warning on this version of CURA, I have had serious problems with print quality on this version of CURA due to print cooling not working and nozzle clogging. I haven't got to the bottom of it yet but my advice for now is stick to V3.6, it is producing great prints whereas I have had major grief with 4.2 :S :-<

I didn't like the 4.2 either, but because of the changes they made. It's much easier for me in 3.6 to set stuff like speed and temp. 4.2 just confuses me. I just wish I could download 3.6 to the new PC. All I can get there is 4.2, so I'm still using the old PC for cura.

Just go to the CURA install website and click on Find earlier versions, 3.6 can be found there

I stopped updating at 3.4. It works, has all the settings I need, and works very nicely.

I have 3.9 and mine works relly well. However i recently got one of my friends involved and he went to 4.2 after a few months and has run into the same issues. So he is looking to revert back.
3.9 works for me, so im good

I use 4.0 with the creawsome Mod.

Needed a bit of tweaking but works great.
