If anyone wonders why I wrote M4E8 "Fury" and omitted an A2 or A3 that a Fury tank would normally have. The hull is a large hatch M4 variant.

The E8 designation indicates the HVSS, not the 76mm gun. The VVSS version supplied to the Soviets would have been designated M4A2 76(w).Son of a gun-ner wrote:And just as a side note, the Americans shipped M4A2E8's with VVSS on lend lease to the Russians.
