Fantastic, thank you Bill

I will say one thing if I may. This is from experience. I know you're going to seal it.
Gluing planking onto ply can cause problems in wet environments, as the plaking is more likely to expand more than the ply.

I'll go away now ;)

Nice jetty. Such a cool plan. Love the of boat.
Me and my father been restoring a Graupner Adolf Bermpohl. We run 3 motors and 3 escs each with separate battery pack. It runs triple 700bb motors. But we now looking at going triple 540 and maybe switch to Lipo. The triple 700 on 3x 6cell packs was madly too fast. I wouldn't run more than 2 motors in parallel on experience

Bill,

This is a fantastic build! I have the early 80' ALCO Boat and have been toying with making it RC. I believe you've convinced me to do so, though it will not be any time soon but one never knows!

I do not want to hijack you build thread but I have a good friend who is building this 1/35 kit.

The photo of the boat at the floating dock is very realistic!!

Is that the boat that has twin water jets, Barry?

If so, the guy I got my running gear from makes a set just for this boat. Looks pretty cool, and a good runner.

Hey, Barry. Don't know if your buddy has seen this or not...

phpBB [video]

It's by the guy that sells the running gear kits. He has videos up for most of his products. It shows the complete installation and running, as well.
