Gig's 1:16 FCM F1

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Hell of a project you have there.
I dont care if it takes 5 years, as long as you finish it and post it here Im a happy camper ;)
i never given up cause it'll be a costly waste if i stop to where it was. PLUS i have the track models and such. track tension is done so now that is left is to do the turret internals and bring this beast to life.
any suggestions for recommended servo sizes and its mounting layouts? cause right now the main turret and secondary turrets are very much empty

remade the gun barrel with a better version with the cradle modeled in the dummy recoil cylinder. servo mountings will be added later.

gun installed into the FCM's main turret for dry fitting, and added a dummy crewman for a size comparison of it for proportions. added turret roof framing so the turret roof doesnt slide off and fall inside.

Hello everybody, as of this current point of the FCM F1.
the things i need to iron out and bug squash on the model for 3d printing to become a full production model as follows:

Hull:
[X] rear part of the tank is not following the schematics due to earlier oversight and lack of information on the hull details
-going to make the hull in 2 halves is possible to fit in with the printer Creality CR-10S S4 400x400x400 size printer and the CR-10 MAX 450x450x500 size printer
-reworking the hull roof to incorporate the catwalks with the hull roof panels in 2 parts.
-hull roof remain as a 3 piece unit
-allocate wiring holes for lighting features
-allocate servo mounting for turrets
[X] hull side panel redone with better build quality

Suspension
-increase structural rigidity, battery housing found to be bowing upwards where the suspension bogie is attached.
-reprint all the tank road wheels with smaller diameter and rim to remain the same size to accommodate wheel rim to touch track panel, further decreasing track throws.
[X] track possible reprint of a better variant

Turret
-servo placement on forward turret needs to be designed

internals
-get them.
