Thanks!!! I am pretty happy with it. I might change the 5mm white led with a super high intensity warm white led though... But so far it makes the job! Really, as it is now, the light can be seen in a wall 20 meters away, so is more than needed right now.

I might paint another bulb with a bat, so I can have my own batsignal, lol.

Very nice, especially the searchlight!

Several companies can supply you with a transparant paint to color the white/blue LED to a more correct yellow, you might want to look into that. 8)
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)

Hi, I think I preffer to just install a warm white led... But I am not really sure what to do. Tanks used incandescent lights for sure, but some searchlights used to work with carbon arch bars, and not with bulbs, so the light was indeed cold white.

Those archs were used in those air raid searchlights, but not sure in smaller things like my turret... So I think I will flip a coin and I will let the luck decide.

Well, Wardaddy has been finished. Sure it can be improved, but hey, it is for making bulk in my battlefield.
