Good morning, Doc,
I have always loved the early MATO Sherman. Yep, it is too tall and kind of chunky but for the time it was released, it was the BOMB for RC Tankers...reasonably priced with good components and able to be detailed and\or modded into other vehicles. It was not long afterwards that HL got into the mix with their M4A3 and stuff slowly started to steamroll from there.
regards,
Painless

Hi Painless. It still is a good model for the price.
Yeah, my bank balance has noticed how the Sherman has "steamrolled" into my life lol.

Oh dear, there really is no hope for us.
But a nice organised model display you have there Painless
Mind you, I'm a lot further behind you, I have a LOT to work on and paint.

I just happened by the Submission thread. I sure am glad that I am not the one that judges any winner. I must admit that I am, yes, a Shermanaholic!
I must say though that I do so love the M8! When I was a kid growing up, I had a neighbor that served as a crew member on an M8 such as this. I remember building a 1/35 kit of it then, with his input, etc.
