Tiger 1 Aluminium Barrel
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and in the planning stage of starting a Tiger 1 build.
I plan on adding a few modifications (PE grills, Schumo gear reduction) and was thinking about replacing the barrel with the Aber aluminium one. A side from buying the schumo metal elevation lever is there anything else that would be advisiable to do/purchase for the barrel conversion? Also does the Aber brass muzzle break require soldering or can you get away with using Fleky 5K CA?
Thanks in advance.

Tiger 1 Aluminium Barrel
It does not require soldering. I’ve used it myself with CA and it’s fine.Mr Sugundas wrote:Hi all, I'm new to the forum and in the planning stage of starting a Tiger 1 build.

I would not use the brass muzzle brake as this puts a lot of strain on the elevation motor.

Apparently it just ruins the balance of the gun with he metal muzzle break.
I always use metal elevation arms on mine and my next Tiger won’t be any different.
I have just had the Schumo barrel delivered.
