I agree, after having read several publications on the Sheridan. A tank that could be air dropped to support otherwise lightly armed paratroopers was nothing to sneeze at! It's nice to have highly mobile armored artillery when you are surrounded!

I spoke with Natasha at the AAF Tank Museum an was told that last they heard the kit would be shipping around the 20th of this month.

I called Tamiya Headquarters.
The 56042 is not imported into the United States. It includes radio equipment.
The 56043 is as we're accustomed to with the full option kits.

UPDATE from AAF Tank Museum

As per their Tamiya rep these have not yet shipped from Tamiya Japan so at least another month before they arrive in the states or elsewhere.

I'll assume once you see them on eBay from Japan and Hong Kong sellers it will mean they are on their way via slow boat to the shores of drooling tank nerds.

This kit must be for millennials. Parts count is low. No tracks to assemble ( Sherman) Does this thing snap together too? <snicker>
We still had these when I was with the 82nd.

Just received my "pay up" notice from the AAF Tank Museum. They expect the Sheridans on Friday, should have it in my grubby hands next week.
