BT-7 Design Progress

Post by Xiaoshan_Sailor »

Clark had been relocating to a new facility so progress had slowed recently but they are back again with more BT-7 updates & you can expect more over the next several weeks. Was told initial sales window will open next month when you can place your order online.

As stated before, Clark is not asking for anyone's money during the initial sales window but only wants to gauge order interest to reach the 100 MOQ. No money changes hands until once working sample is presented & firm orders are taken for production.

If you have any questions, feel free to visit his Facebook group & post. Cheers! 8)

BT-7 progress is running a tad slow but coming along. Clark posted these overnight. 8)

Am looking forward to seeing the other turret options.

Clark kicked off his open order period last night on Facebook its not just for the BT-7 or Cromwell but for all models on his immediate list.
Hello All,
Our tanks are now opened for registration, just reply this thread with the tank and number you like to order, such as "Cromwell *1", first model that hits 100 interest we produce the first, now we have Cromwell, BT-7, BT-42 , M113, Mark IV, Matilda Mk.III on production plan.
BT-7, Cromwell & M113A are certainly at the front since design is mostly complete; Matilda & Mark IV will undoubtedly take more time, my guess they'll follow in 2020 even though they're included here.

BT-7  (BT-7A turret option to be offered separately)
BT-42
Cromwell
M113A
Matilda III
Mark IV

All he's looking to see now is what model garners the most interest & will proceed initially with any model that first hits 100.

You can post your wish list now on Facebook & check his website in the coming days for the updated order page. Feel free to contact Clark directly @ sales@clark-model.com or via any dealer/distributor.

If Stian is going to be supplying them, I'll happily put my name forward as an interested party (I've already emailed him, in fact). If not, I know that Herr M.Lickel of http://heng-long-panzer.de is a designated
Clark supplier, and a trusted source for model tank materials. I'd have no reservations about ordering the Cromwell though him, should he decide to be an outlet
As Freddy said, though, and others, it would be reassuring to see evidence of working prototype before taking the plunge (and it is quite a plunge...) :problem:

Well, If the early models such as the Cromwell and BT are a success, development of the Mk IV and Matilda might be more likely. I'm sure many of us would wish that to happen. :)
As for the declaration of interest-
I'd quite forgotten that Tankzone is the UK rep for Clark. Hmm..well, I've never had occasion to buy from that somewhat controversial source and ought to reserve judgement, but I think I'd rather risk a big outlay with Stian or Licmas... (H.L.Pde) :problem: :|

The top contenders for the moment with Mark IV & Matilda running close behind.

As stated several times before, there will be no money changing hands at any point until a working prototype ie, GOLDEN MODEL, is produced & shown on his Facebook pages & website. You can trust it will well documented online with plenty of details. Only at that point, will Clark begin accepting firm orders requiring any payment.

I've already expressed an interest via Clark's sales email address.
