I only know a "Piss cutter" as the garrison cap... Go figure?

Cheers!
Yeah, I also found that meaning along with a couple of others, but wasn't sure if that was the meaning directed at me, because of why that cap got the name, using the words bell and end. . . .
I also found another nick name for that cap, but not one I can share on here. . . .

Scratchbuilt is such a wide subject it's difficult to say. To say fully scratchbuilt, I'd say you'd have to design and print the thing completely yourself. :)

Well, the dictionary definition states that it's a model made from raw materials, no mention of who has to design it, or what tools or machines are needed, just that it is built from "raw materials."

My response was to the original question. I did not keep up with the conversation.

And???

I'm guessing you mean me, but unlike everyone else, my post count rank never changes (cos I'm special), so makes little or no difference :P :P

.. still pondering this
Scratch built.. hand made ..unique and a one off .....
. 3d printed .. manufactured ? Because all u do is press a key when it prints another ..
And another ,,. And another .

I guess if you have a 3d file and send it to some one else and they print ,, then manufactured
After all I can't send my skill so some one else so they can repeat what I made my self

..
How about .. if it's hand made with out the aid of mechanical equipment ..
Just a ruler .. pencil .. and a knife ., it's scratch built in the purest sence ..

When you use machine made parts .. even from another model kit or tank its then kit bashed
Because the parts are machine made .. even CNC is in that group because it's mechanically made

So 90% of what I build is kit bashed ..
