DGS Military Hobby Commonwealth Stowage Package!

Post by dgsselkirk »

As many of you guys know, I make things for my tanks that I would want as a builder and then produce them to sell to support my crack habit! So here we have the complete package for anyone building a Commonwealth vehicle particularly a Sherman or Firefly. When you look at pics of allied tanks you always see them festooned with stowage. I have chosen the most common items you see on virtually all of them...

You will receive:

~Large pack: crates with tarp rolls on top

~2 individual crates

~1 large long individual tarp roll

~1-medium individual tarp roll

~1 small box with Brit helmet on top

1 backpack with Brit helmet attached

2 Sherman spare wheels

3 Brit helmets

1 open crate with assorted gear inside

2 backpacks

2 17 pdr ammo crates with decals!

~ BONUS! 25 sand bags

~BONUS! 1-scrim net. Best looking one on the market!

~BONUS! Actual wood cross piece for the front of your Sherman.

~BONUS! 2 "liberated" 3D printed Gerry cans.

PRICE: $39.99. Shipping to Canada or the U.S. is $8.93 USD for the U.K. and Europe stay tuned as Forgebear may consider carrying the kit.

I also have a Super version of this kit where you also get my famous Commonwealth Tank Commander and Driver included for an extra $30 dollars and you get a free Commonwealth decal sheet!

If you have any questions at all let me know and thanks for looking...

Hello DGS,
This is a fantastic package deal! As I don't have a Commonwealth vehicle to use this on, could you do a US package up, or say, a sandbag package up? Do you have a site for us to peruse?
Thanks,
mutt71

PS I just scrolled down on new posts and found that you have posted about your e-bay auctions, but that I had already done a transaction with you just a couple of days ago! Upon receipt of my stuff, I will post 5 star feedback. We will be doing a lot more of them I am sure. Thanks Dean!

Having received many stowage resin castings from Dean, I can state that they really are top notch

And that open crate with the hand grenade in is truly magnificent

Depending on how these go going to be working on some U.S. crates with decals ready for late summer early fall. Will be doing 75mm ammo grates and some other decaled supply boxes plus the usual tarps and rolls. If there is something you guys think we should add for the stowage by all means let me know!

Also will probably do a new U.S. tank Commander (and no, not another Brad Pitt! LOL!) to add to the fold. Watch in the very near future for a reasonably priced Russian Tank Commander from me over here and will be carried by Dave at Forgebear shortly. Just finishing up painting a sample now.... :D

Mick answered my first question, that they're cast resin, are you going to try crates in wood filament on your new printer?

Crate decals offered separately would spark my interest, hint, hint.

Too bad you can't turn a mold into an stl file, since that crate with the grenade looks like it might print well on a resin (SLA) printer. :'(

A new tank commander sounds good, can you do a truck driver? Bet they'd sell like hotcakes. Well, at least like luke warm cakes. :haha: :haha:

Dean, this is exciting news for me, being a US Guy. I will be in line for them once you put them up for sale.
Thanks!

There are a few commanders out there but not in the $18 dollar range! Looks like Dave is going to pass carrying this kit since he already carrys stowage so it will all be direct. Sales good so far even to your neck of the woods Herman! :D

Will let you know when the next item comes out...
