I'm wondering if it's a direct fit for the Tamiya M26 Pershing sprockets to use the Tamiya KV-1 track (Product No.: 9808247) as I'm wanting to replicate a WWII era build?
If not, will the KV-1 sprocket parts (Product No.: 9808250 & 9808251) fit the Pershing gearbox outputs?

Buy the correct impact metal t66 tracks? Eddy Kr has a set - £150 or there abouts.
The kv1 tracks will not fit the Pershing sprockets and I doubt the sprocket will fit the Pershing correctly width wise for the wheels?

Couple of reasons, I didn't want to use metal tracks due to the additional weight on the drive train and they're expensive!
If there is no other option, then that's the way it'll have to be.
Cheers.

You have the gearbox brace on your Pershing, I wouldn’t worry too much but you could get shaft supports as well.
I run T66 tracks on my Tamiya Sherman and I did the above to help with any extra stress caused.
