Hello,
I didn't show it up until now but this is my last model completed last October.
This is my rendition of a famous photo showing a M4A2 Sherman tank of the 4th Tank Battalion, Company C, 4th Marine Division on Roi-Namu Island, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, February 1944.
This kit needed quite a few things from various sources from resin bits, Tamiya parts, 3D help to he unavoidable scratch.
You'll find much more views and all the construction details at http://manu-military.e-monsite.com/page ... -1944.html
Thanks for watching
Manu
M4A2 1943 FISHER type
Re: M4A2 1943 FISHER type
It looks very, very good. And for those that don't know, Fisher type refers to the fact that it was manufactured at the Fisher body plant in Flint Michigan. About an hour north of Detroit.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Nice work Manu, this is the first time I’ve spotted the wooden planks on the side of the Sherman
