Thought I'd make a chat thread to keep the submission thread in order for the voters in a few day time

Re: April TOTM chat thread.
And now to explain.
When I spot a rule infringement, I prefer to send the submitters a PM. Saves embarrassment etc.
Sadly the truck submission broke this part of rule five.
"No entries submitted on someone else's behalf"
This rule is an expansion to the rule;
"Must be a forum member to participate" which has been the rule from the start of the TOTM.
And as much as I wanted the truck to stay (it really is my personal favourite looking truck), I had to make a decision that I didn't like doing.
And now I've created this thread so it can be openly discussed (if anyone wishes) without derailing the submission thread.
Regards.
Mick.

Re: April TOTM submission thread.
Mick, why is PJ 66 not welcome? Is that a rule I don't know about, when you win you're not allowed to enter the next month? Has he won too many times? Is there a limit on how many times you can win?
I'm not complaining, or trying to start any trouble, I'm just trying to learn the rules.

Re: April TOTM chat thread.
I wouldn't mind someone entering a tank for someone else, as long as the two guys are related. For John to put in his father's tank is just fine with me, but I sure wouldn't want to see professional Builders having someone on The Forum enter their models for them. I would say the best thing to do on that rule is take it on a case-by-case basis and Mick's decision will be final.
And if we can't make an exception for the truck, can you at least post a photo or two here so that we can see what we were missing?
