Wow, that really is an excellent figure Painless
And your painting is looking very good
She's going to drive Joe even more crazy, even with the Devils Dumplings being covered

Mick,
Thanks, Doc! I defuzzed her paint job from dust and touched up her hair along the helmet line today. Shes as good as it gets from me. Crazy Joe? Hence the SMG she's toting. ;o)

Painless

Yeah, I totally agree, you didn't have to do much at all judging from that close up you posted. Less is more as they say

Carl!
Good afternoon. I'm never satisfied with my figure work. At least the Tank Hobby World is safe from me creating any more 'Crazy Joes'. ;o) I have had a few tips and tricks beat into my noggin by some really good Figure painters here and on the Web.

Went by the Barnes and Noble this weekend and picked up some tank related books. These are not really reference books so they should be safe to drop a couple of pics of here. The male commander figure is coming along well. He should look at least as good as the female figure. I am only awaiting one more piece for the tank itself, one of Maxmekkers excellent speakers. Good morning, Mick,
It is worth the purchase. Doesn't pull any punches about what happens when a tank is shot through and through by an AP round. Ending is a little dramatic but doesn't detract from the overall film. You should find it enjoyable. It pulled both the Mate and myself into the plot with strong characters and great locations. As far as effects, someone had some rubles to spend and it shows. ;o)

Yeah, I heard about the slow motion filming special effects. I think I will get a copy.
Thanks again

Took some time last night to complete the tank's Commander. He did not turn out too badly but is sort of a stiff fellow compared to the cast resin Loader. Time to move on to the tank itself. Pics: ( Click to enlarge )
