Matt you've got a fantastic build/conversion in work! I have been following along as I have a 1/6 Dragon M4A3 that I plan to convert to a USMC M4A2 with wadding trunks.
Keep up the great work....looking forward to seeing the finished machine.

Now in technicolor- primarily coat of Olive drab spray. I'll touch up and bits that it missed as it ran out of paint with the airbrush later and then start marking up the camouflage scheme.
