Re: Inventory
Chally II, Stock except will throw Mato track pads at you during operation.

Re: Inventory
Nice looking pair. I’m thinking about a Leopard as my next tank. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Thank You. I really like the Challenger II. However, despite heng longs progress in quality, the Leo II build quality and functionality is better. Mine is anyway. The Chally wobbles during operation, trys to throw tracks. (both plastic or metal tracks). Have not solved that issue. Yet..
Re: Inventory
You might look into trying drive shaft supports and making sure the gearboxes are tightened up.

Re: Inventory
Thanks.. Drive shaft supports are hard to find here.. The closest I've found is Singapore. Next time I open the Chally up to remove the treads (again), I will check the gearbox mounts.Jimster wrote:You might look into trying drive shaft supports and making sure the gearboxes are tightened up.

Re: Inventory
Christian Ludwig sells these neat, metal, interior liners to stiffen the hull of the Chally 2, and prevent it from flexing ( a contributory factor in handling issues). It might be worth thinking about.

Support bearings from other models might be adapted to fit the Chally, though, I've not tested them myself, yet.

Wow. Was unaware such specialized gear available for the Chally II. Impressive.43rdRecceReg wrote:Christian Ludwig sells these neat, metal, interior liners to stiffen the hull of the Chally 2, and prevent it from flexing ( a contributory factor in handling issues). It might be worth thinking about.
