Thanks Herman and Soeren . Run out of paint so its time to fix some bust cables . Bought some computer cable with 10 way connectors , hope the ribbon cable is better than some of the junk thin wire stuff. Will do a proper rewire, just 3 plugs to pull if i want to take everything apart
Going to split the tank into 3 sections, lower hull to upper hull , lower hull to turret base as the turret ring is a 4 part assembly and turret base to upper turret .
Lower hull tidied up no loose cables now

Thanks Eastern Front
Have tried AK on them , they are good to go now .A few hours and turns from black to a dirty grey with a hint of green colour. Will do your tip in reverse as the burnishing fluid won't work over paint , a few dabs of red oxide next.
Once its dry looks ok , red oxide dabs next.

It’s all looking fantastic. Very inspirational modeling and thanks for sharing the process with good photos.

Some great wee mods in there, Ronnie! I really like the way you toned the bright colours down, especially. Now the KT looks subtle and seasoned. :)
I really must try your technique, on one of my overly vivid- looking models  Cheers.
