Not exactly, there is of course a weld seem, but on the F hull it is where you üutit. The G had it at the turret ring section, as correctly presented on the Trumpeter kit. Have plenty of G and F hulls for reference. Better to have a look before, especially as ypu have the fantastic Trumpeter kit at hand.

New weld line and the old one filled in . That will keep Soeren happy, could have been lazy and left it as i have a steel wheeled lower . Wonder if they would have used a G turret with an F hull ?

Definitely use full additions. You wouldn't have been happy in the end with the wrong plate weld. So goods decision to change it right away.

Hi Herman Schumo do a loaders hatch , but it is always out of stock when i look. No use as i am not one who wants to wait ages for parts. Always better to try first , if i goes pear shaped i might have to wait until its in stock. :(

Run out of paint , going to give it the repaired look . Top deck main plate as well after my mistake putting plate half in wrong place.
Giving it a loaders hatch repair, no camo just hull red.

Another fix required redo the turret counterbalance weights as they fouled the hinge.

If you have an old Heng Long Panther with no working hatches, this is a an easy option for hiding the switch . Cut 2 holes behind the jack block, small one is to line up the magnets and fit switch behind. A couple of magnets to hold jack in position .

Sorting out the storage bins , they should have standoff brackets and a plate underneath. Added lids , hinge and locking clips. Next was brackets for the exhaust, thats one side done.
Support plate, needs another 2 bolts

Storage bins now on brackets.

The Trumpeter 1/16 kit is showing up lots of detail, HL Panther might never be finished .
