Taigen T-34/85

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Taigen T-34/85

Post by jimbo_wa »

Well it had to happen sooner or later, my second tank has arrived... Image

Managed to find a good deal on a BB firing Taigen T-34/85 in winter camo, complete with the Gen3 2.4GHz tank control system.

Should try to keep this one mostly stock, but will replace the BB system with IR.

It's a lot less proportional than the Open Panzer TCB in my StuG III and the suspension is rather ineffective, but assume that it will break in as it's used...

If anyone has any pointers on how to explain its presence to my Wife, please let me know! ImageImageImage

... :) It's from the Battersea Tank's Home, and you're doing the moral thing by re-homing an abandoned tank... :)

That makes me feel better, but don’t think it’s a goer with the WAF...

Or, tomorrow.

Happy valentines darling, I hope you like your present. . . .

Alternatively;

I hope you like the present you got me (be prepared to run at this point, and take the tank with you so she can't throw it at you :haha: ).

..paint,and add some flowers to this, and say that it was intended to be a surprise Valentine, ( although it turned out to be a T34)..

If all else fails, and other blandishments, then it's the new domestic security guard-tank ;)

Or put a rose down the barrel, and hide a diamond ring inside it, say it was a ruse to fool her ;)

She'll probably overlook the packaging :D

Yeah, use the tank to drive her gift to her that's on the rear like stowage :D
