Percy’s. T-34

Post by percy1510 »

Evening all
A few shots of my T34. Would love to hear your comments. I am pretty pleased with the way it has turned out.
It is a Heng Long hull with a taigen metal turret. It has metal tracks, wheels and gears. Electronics are ibu2 pro.
The bed spring armour is scratch built from brass strip and stainless steel mesh and the figure is a Tamiya kit ( minus his legs :D ) with a printed flag

Good evening!
I agree with Carl! Where has this Gem been hidden? More pics please. Is there a Build Thread?
regards,
Painless

Have to agree with Painless: do you have a series 0f build pics? A model of this quality demands greater exposure.
I like the 'lived in', careworn, look of a tank that's been outside tussling in Kursk conditions.  Just like yours. :D

Wow guys.. thank you for the very kind comments. Glad you like the T34. Unfortunately I didn't take any build photos. I have been working on this one for a few months and there are still a few things I would like to tweak. It has a battle system so I am tempted to bring it to one of the club meetings. I am based in Stoke on trent.can any one tell me where my nearest club would be and where they meet. I have 3 tanks now all battle
Equiped so would be good to give them a run

On to the next tank now. I am torn between going modern and getting a leopard with the brand new Heng long electronics or sticking with wwii and getting a kv1 then swapping the turrett to convert to kv2
