This mite be a little late to post,but it shows some generic camo patterns that may be helpful.Just as a template,when I started trying to randomly paint in the different shades of gray and then outline in white I realized I needed a reference that random just did not work for me,and this helps,so maybe it will help other's.SAX

There are some nice patterns there. Have you any in colour ? Do you plan to copy one of these for your Tiger ?

just started the drybrushingi i used a medium Grey, keep it light and wipe most of the paint off the brush then gently flick it over the high points of the model.
for the yellow camo i,m gonna use a drybrush mix of white and flesh  20% too 80%............oz
          one-more thing its best to use enamels for the drybrushing

Oz, Painting looks excellent! Saxondog, brillient camo references. Ill make a note of this post so as i can refer back to it when i finaly get a german tank. Great work guys.

Excellent work all of you!  I'm getting ready to do a late Tiger build but am way behind you [still waiting on my lower hull and wheel set].  It will be my first time with an airbrush and your tips and advice are much appreciated!

thats the whole thing dry-brushed and given a good coat of ronseal, now you can see much more of the detail this would be the time to start painting up the tools tow cables and periscopes, then a round of scrapes scratches and scuffs i,m not gonna go overboard on the paint damage as i like a relatively clean looking vehicle, but you can go as far as you like on this stage................oz

If you were to add chip/scuff marks, would you then put another coat of matt over the top or just leave it as it is ?
Also, what method do you use for painting up the tools/cables.
