February TOTM submission and voting thread.

Post by Son of a gun-ner »

Hello one and all, and welcome to the latest TOTM competition.

As usual, those who would like to enter and show off their pride and joys, have seven days to do so.

Thank you for looking in, and hopefully adding a military vehicle for us to enjoy.

Regards.
Mick.

Here's my An-Bri hetzer I recently built. I've fitted it with the latest version of the Taigen electronics with sound card fitted. Many scratch built parts and hull reinforcements for the resin kit from Andreas. It has panzer III metal tracks and mato Sherman gearboxes. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Dusting off old builds.......Asiatam all metal Elephant, breaks down about as much as the real one, built by me, painted by dgsselkirk. Been sitting on my shelf for couple of years and actually ran when I power it up without anything breaking. I was amazed.

Mostly just a bog standard Heng Long, with brass etch grills on the engine deck, a modified mantlet and replacement dual-sound electronics.

'Build' thread here.

Well, I will participate this time, just for keeping Mick happy. :)

The tank is a Tamiya Panzer IV, Using Elmod fusion pro electronics.
WIth ball bearings installed in road wheels by my friend Daryl.
Daryl's gearbox mount and metal elevation arm.
Elevation and recoil will be replaced with servos soon.
Metal tracks.
Working turret machine gun.
Aliexpress resins (Jeff Shiu's knockouts. Poor Jeff :( )
Custom made smoke machine (stay away from Tarr!) Using straigt baby oil.
Working warm white headlights.
Some extra detail like handmade zimmerit, working towing hatch, working frontal driver window abatible, turret rotation muffler and so on, anti air MG42.
Numbers, flag and crosses done using my own paint masks (want some? Write me!)

Zimmerited, assembled and painted by me. The worst part was paying for the kit and bits. And yes, I paid too. Damn,
