Ford 3 ton tank - Full scratch 1/16 scale
Hello,
As you may have read here viewtopic.php?f=42&t=26932, and though they are in 1/16 scale, I only make static kits.
As I specialize in the US armor from 1917 to 1945, I decided to build from scratch the M1918 special tractor.
So here's the "beast".
Please note that I'm still awaiting for the track links to be moulded in resin from a 3D design.
Thanks for your interest and reading my 1st post.
Manu

Great rendition of an utterly awful vehicle
Sometimes, though, making models of 'bad' tanks is so much better, as they are uncomon and unlikely ever to be made in mass market kits. Looks excellent

Great job attempting such a rarity. I've always been fond of the unusual pieces. Especially the really early tanks.
Tanks alot....

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your nice comments.
To date, I still need to complete the tracks which work won''t happen before, let's say a period of two weeks.
But by the end of April it have to be completed anyway since I have an exhibition close to Caen.
It won't be painted yet though.
As far its eventual motorization, I'm going to disapoint you since I make static models only.
Please read this post to have the "complete story" : viewtopic.php?f=42&t=26932
See you
Manu

How much has it costed for you to build so far? How much do you think it will be when finished? Thanks!

Very nice work! I just looked over your website & fell in love with your Renault FT-17.
Do you offer kits?
