No need to spend time on building in battle damage, you can just aim the tank at something and its done. :D

Nice tank. I have a Mark 1 1/8 Tiger. I removed the pyrotechnics concerned that I may cause serious damage when driving under the influence. I replaced it with a really bright LED flash, much safer and cheaper.
As for skirting boards, I know all about that. When I first acquired mine, I loved it so much I couldn't bear to leave it in the garage so I kept it in the house. Every morning I'd wake up to a telling off from my wife for bashing the woodwork. I spent many hours on my knees staining and polishing!
