At risk of seeming over keen, my super Pershing!
Pershing built, detailed, painted and photographed by me. Most of the super Pershing element done by Frankie (extra armour, counterweight etc)
Tank started as a super Pershing and was extensively converted using parts from DKLM, IMPACT tracks and much scratch building. She's got a tamiya battle system running tamiya electrics, crew are from SOL.

Happy new year everyone !
Here is my entry for this month, it is the Heng Long M41A3 Walker Bulldog that I built over 2 months late last year that can be seen in the build section at;
viewtopic.php?f=201&t=26093
It was a very pleasant build. The model is a Late M41 with the following features;
- Lowered hull by 7.5mm
- Narrowed fenders, reworked bins, new brass tool bin, spare tracks, new detailed features, exhaust and exhaust covers
- Redesigned auxiliary engine exhaust moved to the front
- Road wheels brought closer to the hull by 4mm, modified with ball bearings and Shapeways 4 pin hub caps
- Shock absorbers on roadwheel 3 and 4 moved inside the hull
- New AFV-Model MLRS metal 32mm wide tracks with rubber pads, reworked Mato metal M41 sprockets
- Reworked front glacis with working headlights, brass guards and metal shackles
- Reworked rear plate, with Shapeways tail lights, metal shackles and scratch built gun travel lock
- Angled top rear deck
- Reworked driver's periscopes and hatch
- Enlarged turret ring with new all around plasticard rolled steel side armor at proper angle and right shape
- Lengthened turret by 6mm in front of the commander's cupola
- Reworked front commander's cupola, new and enlarged loader's hatch, and new turret details all around
- New Tamiya M2 MG with Aber metal upgrade set and reworked Nick Aguilar MG mount.
- New cast turret lower nose and sides
- New aluminum metal barrel, hollowed to carry gun flash unit
- Reworked gun mantlet with flash on coax machine gun
- Gun elevation, gun recoil, sound and flash
- Reworked Ultimate Soldier Vietnam era 1/18 figures into ARVN South Vietnamese crew and infantry riders, with 1/16 gears
- Clark M-26 TK-22 control board
- Heng Long Jagdpanther gearbox
- Henntec track adjuster
- Finished in Tamiya Olive Green acrylics and dry brushed with MIG pigments (Black, Rust, Dark Steel and European dust).
- Glencoe M41 ARVN decals
Regards, Louis

Re: January TOTM submission thread.
Here comes my Japanese Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha:
The tank kit was designed by myself, made of styrene and printed parts. All electronics are from HL and Mato.

Re: January TOTM submission thread.
I might as well give it a shot even though I have a potato camera.
Here's my T-90 SM, tank number 113 of the Russian Federation complete with the Stalinium armour package and Russian bias.
Jokes aside, the kit is from DKLM and the tank is powered by a TK60. It's got a 380 motor powering the gearboxes as well. The T-90 in the pictures goes by the name "Rumble" because he's so loud that everyone looks around and wonders where the sound of a bulldozer is coming from.
?? ?!

If there was a like button, I'd thumbs up the other submissions as well. They're really good.c.rainford73 wrote:Wow this has to be the best competition I've seen

Re: January TOTM submission and voting thread.
I like all the entries, but vote is for imcq11's Walker Bulldog
Re: January TOTM submission and voting thread.
Love all of the entries, but my personal favourite, is the m26e1-1 super Pershing, always been a favourite tank of mine, and an exquisite model
