Upgrade for Tamiya Turret rotation motors

Post by John Glover »

Hi Folks, while looking at the RC Universe site i came across a old but great article by Bob from E.T.O Armour a.k.a [Servoblast] which includes what he does to fix the problems with these unit.Apart from gluing the cluth gear or you can replace it as we know he replaces the pins that hold the unit together with cap screw bolts and lock washers. He says that this takes out all the slop in the unit and it works better to the point that it is strong enough to pull one of your tanks back to ground if it on its side.Go on to RC Universe, then go to their RC Tank forum, click on the search icon, top right hand corner and advanced search will appear, click this and type in [Electrical Hygene] in Keywords box .Regards John.
