I missed the build thread, Alwyn but have just digested it. Very accomplished. I've been in awe of your handiwork ever since the Bren/general Carrier, and this doesn't disappoint. As an addendum to my last post here, the Tamiya 1/25 static is out of stock on emodels. There are three unopened static models on Ebay.co.uk right now; but they're not cheap (up to £170). They also have listings for motorised versions available from Hong Kong and Japan, but they're well over £200. :/ Anyone really keen to have one, should check them out.

Oh, so, now we know who this is for lol.

Well done you Alwyn  I thoroughly enjoyed your prototype build(even though one wouldn't think that now I've been busted down lol), I shall enjoy this one too

After some 70+ hours of component printing and partial assembly - some more assembly required!

Then there's the return rollers, sprockets, and idler mount to print and assemble.

Hi Wayne, thanks for the welcome back, yes it should be very much easier as all the design work is done and debugged. It's a good job I'm back, leave you alone for any length and you start carving up your hands!!!! Joking aside I hope things are healing well, it must really have put a cramp on your design and builds!

BTW if anyone wants a Centurion be aware that Brexit permitting we are plannimg to head back to Spain in March for a few months so get any orders in early as the lead time is 4 weeks from order. :D :D

The comments about the price of the small scale Tamiya kits amuses me. I was 'given' the Panther, Centurion, T34 and Tiger a few years back, all the motorised/RC versions and painted very nicely. They weren't my thing so I stuck them on ebay and I think I got about £30 for all four?? 8O

Great work on yours Alwyn, those suspension units look immaculate.
