Wife away,so in the garden to play! Ran all three of my tanks, Tiger metal wheels, low ratio gears, metal tracks,Bulldog metal gears and tracks,Jagdpanther new out of box.(metal gears and tracks going on today)
Jagd seems to have better speed control.Tiger slow but is now very heavy, not much stops it though.Bulldog is like the little engine that can, aproach and depature angles are better so it can get in and out of ruts easier. Also runs on gravel and soil better.

Hi I like the panzer 3 and the panzer 4 ,the Tiger with 3:1 gears is slow but when its been hit its even slower,My grandson runs both these rather than the Tiger he likes to run all other using speed to get out of trouble .Hes going to have a shock soon going to alter the gearing by fitting a 8 tooth pinion in all my tanks .

Re: Which Heng Long drives best?
You guys are saying your PZIIIs can handle softer, muddier terrain better then the Walker BullDog? With stock sized tracks?
Well our Dog has been modified some, the springs at the 4 corners were stiffened with the PZIII upgrade, about 1/2 lb of weight added up front to increase traction and it's powered by Graupner Speed400s turning stock metal gearboxes.
Drove it so much, through such varied terrain across the country that the wheels fell off, literally! She's now in the motor pool waiting for new road wheels. Then I have to figure a way to install bearings so they'll last more then 100 hours.
